Terms and Conditions Heli Adventure Flights – Taupō, New Zealand 415 Huka Falls Road RD4 Taupo, 3384 Last updated: 13/03/2026 1. Acceptance of Terms By booking or participating in any flight or service provided by Heli Adventure Flights (“the Company”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms apply to all passengers, customers, and participants. 2. Bookings All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the Company. A booking is considered confirmed once payment or a deposit has been received. Customers must provide accurate passenger details at the time of booking including passenger weights, contact details, and any relevant medical conditions. All prices include GST and depart from 415 Huka Falls Road, Taupo. Unless Prior arrangements have been made and confirmed regarding departure point. All flights have a minimum of 2 passengers and a maximum of 3 passengers. Some of our flights offer a mountain landing, in this case a $30 per person DOC landing fee will be required. This fee is not included in the price. 3. Passenger Weight & Balance For safety and aircraft performance reasons, all passengers must provide accurate body weight at the time of booking. The Company reserves the right to: • Reallocate seating • Adjust passenger groupings • Charge additional fees if weight limits are exceeded • Refuse boarding if safety limits are exceeded Failure to provide accurate weight information may result in cancellation without refund. Passengers may be asked to be weighed before the flight for more accurate weight and balance calculations or if the total weight of all passengers is over 240kgs. Maximum seat weight of 136kgs per person, combined passenger weights also apply. This restriction is set by the aircraft manufacture. If this limit is exceeded, please get in contact with us to possibly discuss alternatives, e.g. alternate aircrafts or companies. 4. Weather & Operational Conditions Helicopter operations are highly dependent on weather and safety conditions. The Company reserves the right to: • Delay flights • Reschedule flights • Modify flight routes • Cancel flights This may occur due to weather, safety requirements, aircraft availability, air traffic control restrictions, or other operational reasons. If the Company cancels a flight due to weather or operational reasons, customers will be offered: • A rescheduled flight, or • A refund or credit voucher at the Company’s discretion. The Company is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by customers such as accommodation, transport, or missed connections. 5. Customer Cancellations Cancellation requests must be made directly with the Company. Cancellation fees may apply: • Confirmed booking that are cancelled by clients less than 48 hours before flight: 50% Cancellation Fee • Cancellation Due to weather: No Fee Charged Group bookings may have separate cancellation policies. The Company reserves the right to charge administrative fees for processing refunds. 6. Late Arrivals & No Shows Passengers must arrive at the designated departure location at least 10 minutes prior to departure unless otherwise advised. Failure to arrive on time may result in the booking being cancelled without refund. 7. Safety Compliance All passengers must follow the instructions of the pilot and ground crew at all times. The Company reserves the right to refuse boarding or terminate a flight if a passenger: • Appears intoxicated • Acts in an unsafe or disruptive manner • Fails to comply with safety instructions No refund will be issued in these circumstances. 8. Health & Medical Conditions Passengers must ensure they are medically fit to fly. If a passenger has a medical condition that may affect their ability to fly safely, they should consult a medical professional before booking. The Company may refuse participation if a condition poses a safety risk. 9. Assumption of Risk Helicopter flights involve inherent risks associated with aviation and outdoor activities. By participating in a flight, passengers acknowledge and accept these risks. Passengers participate at their own risk. 10. Liability Limitation To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Heli Adventure Flights shall not be liable for: • Personal injury • Loss or damage to personal property • Delays or cancellations beyond the Company’s control • Indirect or consequential losses Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot be excluded under New Zealand law. 11. Personal Belongings Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings. The Company accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Loose items may be restricted for safety reasons. 12. Photography & Media Passengers may take photos during the flight unless otherwise instructed by the pilot. The Company may capture photographs or video for marketing purposes. By participating in a flight, passengers consent to the use of such media unless they request otherwise. 13. Gift Vouchers Gift vouchers: • Are non-refundable • Are not redeemable for cash • Must be used before the expiry date Expired vouchers may not be accepted. 14. Third Party Bookings Bookings made through third-party agents or travel platforms may be subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by those providers. 15. Force Majeure The Company shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond reasonable control including but not limited to: • Weather conditions • Natural disasters • Mechanical issues • Government restrictions • Airspace closures 16. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of New Zealand courts. 17.
